Women Empowering Women

Our inaugural national conference took place on 22nd May 2019 and was attended by 110 delegates (and 3 babies!) The day was filled with inspiring talks from amazing women. We were honoured to have Professor Henrietta Bowden-Jones OBE, the President of the Medical Women’s Federation as our keynote speaker. We also held a series of workshops ranging from leadership & management and becoming the medical SpR to LTFT working and maternity. It was a baby and breast-feeding friendly event with relaxing massages available during breaks to promote self-care and an overwhelming success!
